Retail Manager

Howard was born with a passion for the outdoors and hunting. Howard grew up in the rural area of York Peninsula which gave him the opportunity to develop his firearm skills from an early age. Howard has travelled extensively in Australia and Africa to pursue his keen interest in all game animals. Howard has been in the firearms industry since 1988. With Howard’s hands-on industry and personal experience, he is only too keen to help customers with his expert advice and for them to achieve their hunting and sporting adventures.


Retail Team Leader

Ashley was raised in a gun shop in regional NSW giving her a solid foundation amongst shooters, firearms and the industry. Ashley’s career path followed through with time spent in both the retail and wholesale areas of the industry across three states. She loves breaking clays with her over and under shotgun when not using her extensive experience to help EuroOptic Australia customers achieve their goals.


Retail Assistant

Brett is one of the newest members of the team. He is a keen shooter and has been since being introduced to firearms at a young age. For the past few years, Brett has been shooting IPSC and has enjoyed competing at a State and National level. When he isn’t competing, he is passionate about assisting EuroOptic Australia’s customers with his expert advice.


Retail Assistant

Lisa grew up having a clay target club in her backyard. From the age of 8, she was breaking clays on a daily basis. Moving up the ranks to the Olympic level representing Australia at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games where she finished 10th. With unfinished business, Lisa has decided to strive to represent Australia yet again and attempt to make a second Olympic team in 2020. She loves to share her expertise with customers that come to EuroOptic Australia.


Customer Service Manager

Ash was born in NSW and started shooting at the age of 23. He bought his first firearm in university and mastered PRS shooting (Precision Rifle Series), placing 1st in the Australian PRS Mildura event in 2018. Ash has a vast in-depth knowledge
in long range precision rifles and loves to share his knowledge and learnings. Ash leads our customer service team and is at the forefront of customer service excellence.


Master Gunsmith

Larry Chiera is one of Australia’s most diverse gunsmiths with over 40 years’ experience, bringing to EuroOptic Australia the capacity for exceptional work in all areas of gunsmithing. Larry is also a passionate shooter and has been since a child. Larry enjoys working on repairs, modifying, designing and building custom firearms to ultimately enhance performance.



Troy is a qualified Mechanical Engineer with over 17 years’ experience in diverse industries. Troy has worked on a wide range of projects including Defence, Mining and Aeronautical. Troy is part of the Gunsmithing team and really enjoys machining and grinding components to precise customer specifications. Troy has an active interest in long range precision shooting and takes every opportunity to be outdoors developing his shooting skills.


Gunsmith Apprentice and Cerakoting Guru

Loki has had a passion for firearms since a very young age and has been shooting for many years. Loki has a keen interest in pig hunting and participating in PRS shooting (Precision Rifle Series). Loki is the Cerakoting guru who is passionate about creating a work of art based on the efficiency and beauty of the designs he produces. Loki is also the newest apprentice to join the Gunsmithing team.
